Our Founder
Pastor Daniel Mangubu is the founder of Immersion and serves as an Associate Pastor at Ignite Church. Immersion was birthed out of a deep hunger for God’s presence and a desire to see people fully encounter Him through prayer, worship, and consecration. With a heart for unity and spiritual renewal, Pastor Daniel leads with humility, faith, and a strong conviction that transformation happens when God’s people intentionally seek the Lord. Through Immersion, he creates sacred spaces for believers to draw deeper into God and experience lasting spiritual growth.
Why Prayer, Worship, and Consecration Matter
Prayer, worship, and consecration are not rituals—they are invitations into intimacy with God. Scripture reminds us, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). Through prayer, we align our hearts with Heaven, learning to seek God’s will above our own and to listen for His voice. Jesus Himself modeled this life of prayer, often withdrawing to quiet places to commune with the Father (Luke 5:16).
Worship is our response to who God is. “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). When we worship, we shift our focus from ourselves to His glory, surrendering our praise and allowing His presence to shape and transform us. Worship recalibrates the soul and reminds us that God alone is worthy.
Consecration is the intentional setting apart of our lives for God. “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God” (Romans 12:1). It is in consecration that our hearts are purified, our desires refined, and our lives made ready for deeper encounters with Him. As Joel declares, “Consecrate yourselves… return to Me with all your heart” (Joel 2:15–16).
We believe that prayer invites intimacy, worship awakens reverence, and consecration prepares the heart, true transformation follows. These disciplines create space for God to move—not just in moments, but in lives fully yielded to His presence.
